"Istagionadu" semi-seasoned pecorino cheese - piece
This semi-hard table cheese is made from pasteurised whole sheep´s milk. Also suitable for grating.
Seasoning: more than 6 months.
External appearance: cylindrical with flat sides, smooth crust, straw-yellow colour tending towards brown with age.
Internal characteristics: white colour tending towards straw-yellow with age; the slight graininess highlights the seasoning.
Flavour: pleasantly spicy.
The product comes vacuum-packed.
